We have paid and volunteer opportunities for current ESF students that possess skills in quantitative analysis. We have qualitative tasks as well and can train in that area. Students who wish to be even more involved in the lab can work on putting together public comment periods, setting up focus groups, and respondent outreach.

Degree Applicants:

Review of Applicant Materials for MS and PhD
In anticipation of future research needs we are reviewing applicant materials from candidates with the following qualifications:
- For PhD: earned MS; for MS: a BS or BA in a related field. (e.g. Environmental Studies, Rec. Management, Conservation Biology, Environmental Education, etc.)
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated quantitative analytical skills.
- Ability to self-manage and execute tasks.
- Familiarity with social science research methods.
- Experience with hiking and alpine recreation and management.
- Familiarity with recreational areas of the Northeast.
- Demonstrated record of working in teams and interest in supporting a growing research lab.
